"We ordered the medium firmness and it wasn't firm enough. Ordered the insert and the bed is perfect now. The customer service was excellent. Very responsive and willing to work with you to make the bed just right. We worked with Zachary; he was great!"
Do I need a new foundation with my new Nest Bedding mattress?
We highly recommended that you use this time to review your foundation and supports to make sure that they are still working well and providing a rigid, non-flexible support for your mattress. It would be best if you replaced your boxed foundation or box spring each time you buy a new mattress, as old and worn-out foundations can poorly affect the feel of your new bed. We recommend the use of a slatted or solid, non flexible foundation. If you are using slats, make sure they are no more than 4 inches apart with a center support beam in the middle.
The use of box springs bowed, or flexible slats are designed to add additional softening to a sleep system and will void your return and warranty of your new Nest Bedding mattress. Nest Bedding mattresses are designed to support your full body and give pressure point relief within the mattress itself. Box springs and bowed slats with their less-than-ideal support will allow for the support in your new mattress to bow down and soften, thus compromising your support by forcing your body into a position that creates muscle fatigue and overall poor sleep posture. The best way to test if your current foundation is sufficient is to use your mattress on the floor for 5-7 nights and see if that changes the support or feel of the mattress. If it does, then it may be time to look at a new and more supportive foundation.
